Keswick/Weddings
Estate Weddings · April–November

A vineyard wedding, quietly done.

Nestled in a valley of rolling farmland and framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains, Edgewood Estate is the backdrop for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The estate is yours for the day.

The Day

Morning light, evening candles.

Exchange vows on the pond’s edge. Serve dinner under the sailcloth on the pavilion lawn. Toast in the barrel room as the sun drops behind Southwest Mountain. Our coordinator walks every couple through the arc, hour by hour.

Most estate weddings run between 40 and 220 guests, April through November. The four-season building hosts winter weddings and rehearsal dinners year-round.

The Spaces

Four rooms, one estate.

Whether you hold court for 220 on the pond lawn or gather 40 in the barrel room, we configure the property around your guest list — not the other way around.

The Pond Lawn

Ceremony by the water.

A ring of hardwoods reflects in the pond behind you. Up to 220 guests on the slope, with weather backup inside the pavilion.

The Pavilion

Dinner under linen and light.

Sailcloth tent for seated dinner service. String lights, white oak tables, and a catering-grade kitchen tucked behind.

The Barrel Room

Rehearsal dinners and dancing.

Forty to eighty guests among the working barrels. Intimate, atmospheric, and cool even in August.

Four-Season Building

A roof for every season.

Climate-controlled year-round. Ideal for winter weddings, rehearsal dinners, and inclement-weather backup.

Food & Wine

Every pour from our cellar.

We hand-pour your bar. Your guests toast with the wine we grew, pressed, and aged on the same land where you’ll exchange vows. Barrel & Board crafts the menu — seasonal, plated, and built on Piedmont growers.

External caterers are welcome on weddings of 150 or more guests. We retain the bar program exclusively.

The Team

A family operation.

Cindy Schornberg and her team — Brian, Grace, and Hailey — coordinate roughly sixty estate weddings a year. You’ll have the same coordinator from tour through last dance.

We host only one wedding per day. Your rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all happen on an estate that is, for that day, entirely yours.

They are not only there to make sure you have a gorgeous background — they care about the actual marriage.
